Israeli methods and weapons of killing and destruction in the Gaza Strip are varied, including bomb-laden robots, which the occupation army has intensified its use of during its ongoing assault for the eighth consecutive day in northern Gaza.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center that the occupation army has ramped up the use of bomb-laden robots to destroy homes and target population centers in northern Gaza.
According to the sources, the occupation army detonated a robot near the Al-Majdalawi family mosque in the Al-Faluja area, resulting in significant destruction to homes and injuries to many citizens.
The occupation army also detonated three robots near the Abu Aida home, near the Gharib intersection, and on Abu Rami Abdul Nabi Street. Activist Ahmed Hijazi confirmed that the occupation forces use tank-sized robots loaded with tons of explosives, which are lined up in residential areas in the Jabalia camp and then explode them simultaneously, causing massive destruction.
He added that, so far, sources from Jabalia have reported three residential blocks in Jabalia that were blown up by robotic tanks.
The bomb-laden robot is a mechanical device packed with explosives that the occupation army launches at homes and alleys. It is equipped with cameras and operated remotely by occupation soldiers, who detonate it in residential areas and civilian gatherings.
This is not the first time the occupation forces have used bomb-laden robots for destruction and killing in the Gaza Strip. Last May, Al Jazeera showed exclusive footage documenting the Israeli army’s use of bomb-laden robots during its incursion into the Jabalia camp.
This is the third assault on northern Gaza, with more than 200 citizens martyred and hundreds more injured as an initial toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on northern Gaza since last Saturday evening. The occupation seeks to displace citizens and completely empty northern Gaza, issuing many evacuation orders that most residents have rejected.
