A general strike was declared in the West Bank Occupied Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip on Thursday in solidarity with Nablus.
Government and commercial offices were closed to observe a general strike called by Palestinian factions to mourn 11 Palestinians who were killed during an Israeli military raid into Nablus.
It coincided with massive protests in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in the wake of the killings.
11 Palestinians mostly civilians were killed and at least 102 others were wounded including six in serious condition after the Israeli occupation forces stormed Nablus in the morning and used live ammunition indiscriminately during its raid.
