Head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal stressed that the Palestinian people are ready for Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem battle hailing the heroic Palestinian sacrifices made in face of the Israeli schemes.
In a video conference addressing a public festival in Jordan on Thursday evening Mishaal pointed out that the Israeli occupation’s decision to allow settler break-ins into Al-Aqsa was meant to prevent Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa battle outbreak.
The Israeli government seeks to covertly Judaize Al-Aqsa in order to avoid any anticipated uprising he said.
Mishaal warned of Israeli plans to assassinate the leaders of the Palestinian resistance and emphasized that the Palestinian resistance was prepared to confront the Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa.
He continued by pointing out that the Palestinian worshipers at Al-Aqsa particularly during the final ten days of Ramadan resisted an Israeli plan to impose temporal and spatial division.
The senior Hamas official further cautioned that far-right religious and national organizations currently control the Israeli government and are pushing for the construction of their alleged Temple and the slaughter of animal sacrifices at Al-Aqsa.
Mishaal concluded by calling for continuing the recent strategy of battling the Israeli occupation on several fronts.
