Clashes with IOF strikes in W. Bank following death of Khader Adnan

Violent clashes broke out on Tuesday morning in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and angry Palestinian youths who took to the streets following the death of prisoner Khader Adnan.

General strikes were also announced in different areas of the West Bank in mourning of martyr Khader Adnan who died in an Israeli jail at dawn Tuesday after 87 days of hunger strike.

In southern Jenin hundreds of citizens participated in a march in Arraba town in protest at what they called the assassination of prisoner Adnan.

During the march the participants chanted slogans supporting the resistance and calling for avenging Adnan’s death.

Meanwhile a Palestinian young man attacked the Israeli military base of Rachel’s Tomb in northern Bethlehem with an explosive device.

Resistance fighters also opened fire at three Israeli cars near the illegal settlement of Avnei Hefetz. Consequently the IOF closed all the entrances of Shufa village in the southeast of Tulkarem and launched a manhunt for the shooters.

Palestinian youths also clashed with Israeli forces at a checkpoint in the south of Qalqilya City while general strikes were announced in Qalqilya Ramallah Jerusalem and other areas of the West Bank in mourning of martyr Adnan.

Skirmishes with Israeli troops also happened in different areas of the West Bank including in al-Khalil Jenin Nablus and Jerusalem.
