Senior Hamas official Ismail Radwan has warned Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu of committing any act of foolishness against Saleh al-Aruri deputy head of the Movement’s political bureau or any resistance leader.
In press remarks on Sunday Radwan said that there would be an unprecedented response if the Israeli occupation targeted any resistance leader.
&ldquoWe cannot condone any crime against the Aqsa Mosque a resistance leader or any one of our people&rdquo the Hamas official underlined.
In a separate statement the Hamas Movement described Netanyahu’s threat to assassinate Aruri and resistance figures as &ldquoempty remarks that will not intimidate the resistance.&rdquo
Hamas affirmed that the Palestinian people and their resistance leadership &ldquowho have offered a long convoy of martyrs&rdquo would continue to resist the occupation with determination and courage until they extract their legitimate rights and liberate Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.
The Movement stressed that the Israeli leadership should understand that any harm coming to any resistance leader would be responded to strongly.
Netanyahu threatened on Sunday to assassinate Aruri and other resistance figures in response to the growing resistance operations against Israelis in the West Bank.
