The head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal has called on everyone who carries weapons to bear the responsibility of defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and the nation.
In an interview with TRT Mishaal called on Muslim scholars to change the rules of the game by issuing fatwas and putting pressure on the rulers for the sake of Gaza.
What is now needed is mass mobilization to stop the aggression on Gaza he said.
Mishaal also condemned “the Israeli heinous criminal massacre in Jabalia refugee camp on Tuesday evening which left more than 500 casualties and dozens of missing persons.”
The occupation was defeated militarily and is now taking revenge on children and women he added.
Addressing Arab communities around the world he called for putting more pressure on the US President to stop the criminal war.
He called for the opening of the Rafah crossing and saving the people of Gaza.
Mishaal stressed that the free world can stop this crime saying: “How many weeks should we wait yet?”
He called on Russia and China to take more steps to stop the aggression against Gaza.
The senior Hamas official appreciated the role of Egypt and Jordan in refusing to displace Palestinians outside their homeland.
Mishaal emphasized that October 7 was a milestone in the Palestinian resistance and struggle against the occupation.
The Hamas leader concluded by stressing that the Palestinian people are seeking freedom and an end to the occupation.
