The Hamas Movement has applauded Turkiye and Honduras for recalling their ambassadors from the Israeli occupation state over the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
In a statement Hamas called on Turkiye and all the Arab and Islamic countries to take further measures to deter the occupation state and its aggression pressure the US administration to end its support for the Israeli war crimes and work on facilitating the evacuation of wounded civilians to hospitals outside Gaza and providing the population with their relief and medical needs.
The Movement also welcomed a similar decision by Honduras which recalled its ambassador to Israel in protest at the Israeli massacres in Gaza.
“The decision is a step in the right direction and we ask the Honduran government to completely sever its relations with this rogue entity that has no regard for any international laws or conventions” the Movement said.
In recent days international anger over Israel’s genocidal crimes in Gaza has grown. There have been more massive popular rallies around the world in protest at Israel’s daily massacres in the embattled coastal enclave.
