Two Palestinians were killed and many others were injured in an Israeli military raid in the West Bank at dawn Thursday.
In al-Khalil 30-year-old Anas Nasser Muhammad Abu Atwan was killed after being shot by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Tabqa town southwest of al-Khalil.
Anas was shot as clashes erupted in the town after being violently stormed by IOF troops local sources reported.
In Ramallah six Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire and three others were arrested during a military raid into Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh.
Similar raids were also carried out in Beit Furik town east of Nablus which led to the outbreak of violent clashes. Two locals were injured during the confrontations.
In Tubas two Palestinians were injured and four others were arrested including a woman during an IOF raid.
Another Palestinian succumbed to his serious injuries which he sustained yesterday in Beit Fajjar town in Bethlehem.
Muhammad Farid Hamdan Thawabta 51 was shot and seriously injured during an IOF raid into the town which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
The IOF stormed the town and surrounded a local house belonging to the ex-prisoner Hamdi Imad Al-Kamil amid heavy live fire in a failed attempt to arrest him.
His family members endured a harsh investigation during the raid and were threatened with having their house blown up if Hamdi did not turn himself in.
The IOF evacuated the neighboring residential buildings and besieged approximately 370 students in Al-Awda and Al-Nukhba schools in the area.
64 people were injured during the raid 10 of whom had gunshot wounds according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
