The Palestinian factions said they called on the UN to send missions to the Gaza Strip to make sure that Al-Shifa Hospital is not used for military purposes or by resistance fighters.
In a statement on Saturday the Follow-Up Committee of the factions appealed to the competent international organizations to send delegations to Al-Shifa Hospital to prevent Israeli forces from storming it and twisting the facts.
For its part the Hamas Movement warned of Israeli intents to escalate its attacks on Al-Shifa Hospital and its vicinity and held the US administration and president Joe Biden fully responsible for Israel’s crimes against medical staff patients the wounded and displaced people at the hospital.
Hamas appealed to the UN and the Arab and Islamic countries to intervene immediately to curb the Israeli occupation state’s brutal aggression against Gaza and protect civilians and hospitals.
