The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem amid clashes with local youths and resistance fighters.
According to local sources a large number of Israeli troops stormed Tubas City and spread in its streets before clashing with local youths.
A number of young men reportedly suffered from bullet injuries during the events.
Local sources said that resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli soldiers and detonated an explosive device at one of their vehicles while young men blocked roads with burning tires and hurled stones at IOF vehicles.
In Nablus Israeli forces stormed Burqa town in the northwest of Nablus provoking clashes with local youths.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers broke into and ransacked the house of Shadi Abu Omar before detaining him in the town adding that the IOF raided other homes and kidnaped three citizens.
One of the four detainees was reportedly injured by IOF gunfire during the raid on his home but later he was pronounced dead.
In Qalqilya armed clashes took place between resistance fighters and Israeli special forces in the city.
The IOF also stormed Tulkarem City and kidnaped a citizen after detonating the door of his home and another citizen after raiding his home near the Old Mosque.
In Ramallah the IOF kidnaped six citizens after raiding homes in Bil’in town.
The IOF also kidnaped Hazem al-Fakhouri the husband of prisoner Lama Khater after pillaging his home in al-Khalil City. The IOF kidnaped six others from different areas of al-Khalil province mostly from Halhul town.
In east Jerusalem violent clashes broke out between Israeli police forces and Palestinian young men in the refugee camps of Shuafat and Qalandia.
Local sources said that police officers kidnaped a 12-year-old child called Omar Alkam after severely beating him in Shuafat camp and another young man from Qalandia camp.
