The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) pursued arrest campaigns across the West Bank on Wednesday resulting in the eruption of clashes and armed confrontations that led to the martyrdom of seven Palestinians and the detention of dozens of citizens including a girl and a number of injured young men.
In Tulkarem IOF soldiers raided Tulkarem refugee camp and arrested a young man with a severe injury from an ambulance car after storming the courtyard of Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital. Many others were also arrested including citizens paramedics and wounded people from the ambulance service center in the camp.
The IOF then bombarded Tulkarem refugee camp claiming the lives of 6 Palestinians.
In Qalqilya the IOF broke into Azzoun town and opened fire at a Palestinian car leading to the martyrdom of a young man and the injury of another before he was arrested.
IOF soldiers also stormed Hableh town in the south of Qalqilya and carried out home inspection raids in a number of Palestinian houses. Furthermore they broke into Sharhabeel bin Hasna Mosque and wreaked havoc on it.
This morning the IOF stormed the city of Tubas leading to the eruption of clashes and armed confrontations that led to the injury of two Palestinian young men and the arrest of two others.
Israeli special forces had sneaked in the morning into the city of Tubas before they were followed by military vehicles raiding the city from its eastern entrance. Snipers were deployed on buildings’ rooftops and one Palestinian home was stormed.
In Ramallah the IOF raided Beitunya town leading to the eruption of clashes the injury of a Palestinian youth and the arrest of three young men including two brothers who were formerly imprisoned in Israeli jails. The IOF soldiers fired bullets tear gas and stun grenades at protestors.
Meanwhile 12 Palestinians including a girl were rounded up in Bethlehem after the IOF had stormed Al-Dehaisheh refugee camp in southern Bethlehem. Six other young men sustained injuries due to IOF attacks and shootings in different locations in the governorate.
In al-Khalil the IOF arrested two young men and injured a third with a live bullet in the shoulder during a raid into al-Thahirya town in southern Al-Khalil.
