The Hamas Movement has mourned its spokesman Mohamed Hamada, from Occupied Jerusalem, saying he was martyred a few days ago during the relentless Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
“The martyr and fighter, Mohamed Hamada, spent his life defending his people, Jerusalem City and the Aqsa Mosque,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.
“He had spent over 14 years in detention and was released as part of the Wafa al-Ahrar prisoner swap deal in 2011 before he was exiled from Jerusalem to the Gaza Strip, where he pursued his struggle as the Movement’s spokesman for Jerusalem City and a member of its media office and continued defending the national rights of his people,” Hamas added.
The Movement asked Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon all the martyrs in Gaza and the West Bank and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
