Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, unveiled a new video entitled: “Time is running out… the choice is yours, either in coffins or alive.” The video demonstrated scenes of Israeli individuals held captive in Gaza, killed by an Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
After the video, a direct message from the spokesman of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, stated, “The enemy continues to gamble with the lives of its soldiers held captive by the resistance, indifferent to the feelings of their families. Yesterday, it deliberately executed three of them, choosing to kill them rather than release them. This is the same blatant criminal behavior it has practiced and continues to do so against its captives in Gaza, in a desperate attempt to rid itself of the burden of this issue and its well-known obligations.”
The scenes showed pictures of the Israeli captive, Faul Azai Mark Asiani, who was killed as a result of an Israeli aircraft bombing on November 9, 2023, and another captive who received intensive care and was returned after recovery to his place of detention and died due to panic attacks as a result of the Israeli repeated bombing. He was suffering from chronic and heart diseases.
The video also photographed captive Yarden Bibas, whose wife, Sherry, and his two children, Kfir and Ariel, were killed by Israeli warplanes, sending a message to Israel’s prime minister. The resistance offered to hand over the three bodies during the humanitarian truce, but Israel refused to receive them.
Pictures of the Israeli captive, Sa’ar Baruch, who was killed during an Israeli army’s attempt to reach him. He was killed along with a number of soldiers of the Israeli attacking force.
Since Friday, angry Israeli reactions have escalated, following the Israeli army’s announcement that it had killed 3 Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli journalist Yossi Melman said, “All Israeli captives will return as dead bodies if our government does not initiate a ceasefire and prisoner exchange.”
The sister of one of the Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip said, “The military operation proved its failure to return the captives. Only bodies are coming back from Gaza. A ceasefire is a must. We want to see our captives alive.”
The daughters of an Israeli prisoner in Gaza said: “We do not want coffins; we want the prisoners alive here.”
The families of the Israeli captives went to demonstrate before the Israeli war ministry to demand a prisoner exchange deal with the resistance, saying that their patience had run out, and an exchange deal must be concluded immediately, chanting angry slogans, including “Deal now, now!”
