The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained 25 more Palestinians in the West Bank on Thursday, taking the tally since Oct. 7 to 4,655, according to prisoners’ affairs groups.

The new arrests took place in the cities of Nablus, Tulkarem, Ramallah, and al-Khalil across the occupied West Bank, the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society said in a joint statement.

“The arrests were marked by harassment, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, along with acts of sabotage and destruction in the homes of Palestinians,” the statement added.

The number of detainees includes those who were arrested at home, at military checkpoints, or who were forced to surrender themselves under threats.

In Nablus, the IOF stormed several towns and carried out violent raids into local homes, arresting two youths.

In Jenin, the IOF troops stormed Ya`bad town in large numbers, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

Two Palestinians were also detained in Tulkarem.

Similar raids were also carried out in Salfit and Ramallah.

The Israeli forces also arrested a young man in Ram town in Occupied Jerusalem and rounded up several youths in Bethlehem.

Four more youths were detained in al-Khalil.
