The Hamas Movement condemned the US attacks on Iraq and Syria, calling it dangerous escalation, an infringement on the sovereignty of the two Arab countries, and a threat to their security and the stability of the region.
The Movement added in a statement on Saturday that the US aggression on the two countries serves the Israeli expansionist agenda and covers up its heinous crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas charged Biden’s administration with responsibility for “repercussions of this brutal aggression on Iraq and Syria, stressing that “the region will not witness stability or peace unless the Zionist aggression and crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against our people in the Gaza Strip are stopped and that the Zionist-Nazi occupation of our Palestinian and Arab lands is terminated.”
The Movement called on the US administration to review its offensive policies and respect the sovereignty and interests of the Arab peoples which will not stand idly in the face of the genocidal crimes carried out in full view of the entire world.
On Friday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the launch of retaliatory strikes in Iraq and Syria attacking Al- Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
