As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 164 on Monday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers and aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of citizens.
According to media sources, one civilian was killed and four others were injured when Israeli forces opened fire at them in al-Rashid street in central Gaza.
Israeli warplanes also reduced a number of homes to rubble in al-Jalaa street in Gaza City, killing several civilians.
Casualties were reported when the Israeli army bombed a house in al-Lababidi street in Gaza City.
Nine people were martyred and others were injured following an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the family of Abu Hujair in an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army ordered all the Palestinians inside Al-Shifa Hospital to gather outdoors before detaining dozens of them, including journalists, and embarked on destroying broadcast vehicles.
Al Jazeera satellite channel said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped its reporter Ismail al-Ghoul after assaulting him.
The Israeli army also ordered the citizens living around Al-Shifa Hospital to leave their homes immediately and walk southwards.
The IOF also stormed two schools used as shelter centers near Al-Shifa Hospital and kidnaped dozens of men.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a number of slain civilians in Al-Shifa Hospital’s courtyards, saying they were killed during the IOF attack on the facility.
They added that nobody is able to reach the victims in the hospital’s courtyards because nearby Israeli tanks and snipers target every moving object inside and around the facility.
Last night, Israeli forces and their tanks launched an attack on Al-Shifa Hospital while firing heavy gunfire and projectiles at it and the streets around it, committing a massacre against the civilians sheltering in its buildings and its courtyards.
