The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and on Sunday morning.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped two young men from the villages of Husan and Harmala in Bethlehem province.
A young man also suffered a bullet injury in his leg during clashes between young men and Israeli forces in Wadi al-Hems area of Bethlehem.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped a citizen from his home and raided other homes in Yatta town.
A car also overturned and its driver was injured after IOF vehicles chased it in Yatta.
Other IOF raids on homes happened in al-Fawwar refugee camp and ad-Dhahiriya town, with no reported arrests.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army intensified its military measures at the entrances of refugee camps and towns in al-Khalil, closed roads with barriers and obstructed the movement of Palestinian citizens and vehicles.
In Jenin, Israeli forces came under fire from resistance fighters after they stormed Silat al-Dhaher town.
Local sources said that resistance fighters detonated explosive devices at IOF vehicles in the town.
In Ramallah, resistance fighters threw explosive devices at the Ofer military base in Beitunia town.
Israeli forces were also attacked with explosive devices during dawn clashes with local youths in Ramallah City.
In a related context, the Palestinian Prisoner Society said that the IOF kidnaped at least 10 citizens during overnight and dawn raids in the West Bank.
The IOF detentions occurred in the provinces of Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Tulkarem, Ramallah, al-Khalil and Tubas.
