The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in different areas of the West Bank at dawn Saturday.
In eastern Qalqilya, the IOF stormed Azzun town and roamed several streets and neighborhoods, amid heavy gunfire.
According to local sources, no injuries or arrests were reported during the raid.
In Jericho, the IOF troops stormed Aqabat Jaber camp and attacked a group of local youths with teargas bombs near Al-Auja town to the north, injuring a number of them.
In Nablus, the Israeli forces stormed Balata camp and Salem village accompanied by a D9 bulldozer.
The teacher Mahmoud Alawneh was detained after IOF violently stormed his house.
The Israeli forces also stormed the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
On the other hand, the Israeli forces closed the Tayasir and Hamra checkpoints leading to the Jordan Valley areas late on Friday, restricting Palestinians’ movement in both directions.
