Lebanese Minister of Health Firas Al-Abiad said on Monday that “the health sector in Lebanon is steadfast, but, under the current circumstances, needs support.”
Al-Abiad added that the world must carry out its duties and enforce the international laws, saying, “we are surprised by the global silence about what is happening in Gaza and Lebanon.”
He said, “The Israeli occupation enemy might consider repeating what he did in Gaza elsewhere without any deterrence.”
Since last Monday, the Israeli occupation army has been launching a large-scale offensive against Lebanon, in the most violent aggression since the start of the confrontations with Hezbollah about a year ago, which led to the martyrdom of a large number of Hezbollah political and military officials, led by the party’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
