The Government Media Office (GMO) in the Gaza Strip denounced the declined role of international organizations in the Strip, stressing the need to double international efforts to work effectively to stop the crime of genocide being committed in the Gaza Strip and has so far killed and injured more than 150,000 Palestinians, most of them children and women.
During his reception of a UN official delegation on Monday, the GMO Director General, Ismail Al-Thawabta, expressed his dissatisfaction with “the remarkable decline of the role of all international organizations and institutions working within the Gaza Strip.”
He called on the international bodies to double their efforts and level up their performance to provide the Palestinian people with the required services, relief, and security, in light of the brutal Israeli aggression carried out with the US support.
The GMO had received the representative of the UN Human Rights Office in Palestine, Yu Kanzu, and the official of the human rights file in the office, Muhammad Abu Hashem.
Yu stressed the need to provide more services to the Palestinians, expressing her sympathy for the victims in the Gaza Strip, amid the difficult circumstances the Palestinian people are going through due to the Israeli war of genocide.
