GAZA, (PIC)
Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza appealed to international humanitarian organizations, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the International Committee of the Red Cross to urgently intervene to enable its crews to operate in northern Gaza.
The Civil Defense said in a statement on Thursday that the work of its crews has been forcibly halted for the 9th day in northern Gaza due to the ongoing Israeli bombardment and aggression, stressing that thousands of citizens are left with no humanitarian aid and medical care.
It also called for immediate intervention to allow operating the remaining firefighting, rescue and ambulance vehicles which are still held near Beit Lahia cemetery by the Israeli occupation forces which directly fire at anyone who tries to approach the vehicles.
