Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian farms in al-Lubban al-Sharqiya village in southern Nablus on Saturday morning and cut down dozens of olive trees.
Local sources said that the settlers uprooted 50 olive trees located near the road linking Nablus to Ramallah. They added that the damaged olive trees belong to Sidki al-Aghbar and Nabil Uwais.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said in a recent report that Israeli occupation forces and Jewish settlers had carried out 1,490 attacks on the Palestinian people, agricultural land, and property over the past month of October. Most of the attacks took place in the governorates of Nablus, al-Khalil, and Jerusalem, it added.
