A group of Jewish settlers attacked Umm al-Safa town, north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, on Sunday evening.
The settlers assaulted local citizens at the western entrance to the village, while the village council was laying a water line in the village.
The settlers detained the owner of a bulldozer and the worker accompanying him and also broke the vehicle of one of the citizens who were at the site, preventing any assistance.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army stormed the town to protect the settlers and fired tear gas at residents, leading some of them to suffer from tear gas inhalation.
Last October, the Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,490 attacks as part of the Israeli systematic terrorism policy against the Palestinian people.
