Specialized institutions concerned with prisoner affairs have revealed serious violations carried out by jailers against Palestinian female prisoners in the Israeli Damon prison.
The institutions indicated that the prison guards conduct strip searches on the female prisoners and take them to isolation without hijabs in monitored rooms with cameras operating around the clock.
It was reported that the situation has deteriorated to the point where they receive moldy bread during the week, and one of the meals contained a small amount of spoiled hummus.
According to the latest statistics released by prisoner organizations, the number of female prisoners in Damon prison has reached 89, among them four prisoners from Gaza with known identities.
