The Israeli occupation army violated anew the ceasefire agreement over Lebanon after its forces carried out deadly strikes on the country’s southern areas on Saturday night.
According to the Lebanese health ministry and local media sources, six civilians were martyred and five others were injured following Israeli airstrikes on the villages of Beit Lif and Deir Siryan in southern Lebanon.
Five of those victims were killed in the strike that targeted Beit Lif village.
Since the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, the UN has recorded dozens of violations committed by Israeli forces against the Arab country.
Israeli attacks have largely ceased in other parts of the country, but continue to happen in southern Lebanon.
There may be a ceasefire in other parts of Lebanon, but that has not meant peace for the people in the south of the country who routinely see Israeli raids and still hear Israeli jets and drones flying over their towns and villages.
