The Hamas Movement said that the Israeli occupation is deliberately ensuring that only limited quantities of fuel, which only last a few hours, reach hospitals in Gaza.
“The Israeli occupation is still deliberately preventing fuel from reaching hospitals except in very limited quantities that are not enough for hours, while it continues its open war on hospitals and medical centers,” Hamas said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The criminal Zionist occupation aims to worsen the healthcare situation in the Gaza Strip and keep the hospitals in a state of permanent crisis as a continuation of its plan to destroy the health sector in Gaza in total disregard to the lives of thousands of patients and wounded.”
The Movement called on international agencies, including the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross, to urgently intervene to save sick and injured Palestinians at Gaza hospitals.
