The people of the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley confronted on Wednesday a group of fanatic Israeli settlers who raided the village under the protection of Israeli occupation forces (IOF), leading to the outbreak of clashes in the area.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers attempted to steal the cows of citizen Jamal Sawafta in the western region of the village.
The sources added that the villagers confronted the attacking settlers, triggering clashes.
Settlers’ attacks on the village have escalated over the past days, the last of which was storming the Bardala School, under IOF protection, igniting confrontations that led to the injury of a number of citizens.
