A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead on Saturday evening after he succumbed to serious injuries he sustained when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him earlier on the same day in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
According to local sources, 42-year-old Ahmed Hashash was seriously injured when Israeli forces opened fire at him and others during a raid in Balata camp.
Hashash was rushed to a hospital in Nablus City, where doctors tried to save his life before they announced his martyrdom later.
A large number of Israeli troops stormed some streets in Balata camp and embarked on opening fire at local residents from rooftops of buildings and showering them with tear gas.
