A Palestinian girl child was injured on Monday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at citizens in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem City.
The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided first aid for a 13-year-old girl and transferred her to the Thabet Thabet Hospital after she suffered shrapnel wounds in her chest in Ukasha neighborhood in Nur Shams camp.
Meanwhile, local sources said that the Israeli army deployed more troops in Tulkarem and its refugee camps and turned a number of tall buildings into military posts, especially in Tulkarem camp.
The sources added that the IOF also forced more families to leave Tulkarem camp and go to the city.
Since the start of 2025, the IOF operations in the West Bank have claimed the lives of 70 Palestinian citizens, including 10 children, one woman and two elderly men, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
