One Palestinian young man was injured on Saturday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in Jenin City, while many others suffered from inhaling tear gas in Bethlehem.
The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided first aid for a young man who suffered from a bullet injury in his thigh during an IOF raid in Jenin City.
Israeli soldiers also prevented an ambulance from evacuating this wounded young man to the hospital for some time before letting it leave.
Red Crescent paramedics also provided medical assistance for at least 31 citizens and transferred some of them to hospitals after their exposure to tear gas during an IOF attack on them in Bethlehem City.
Local sources said that a large number of Israeli soldiers stormed the central area of Bethlehem City and embarked on firing tear gas canisters intensively at citizens celebrating the release of Palestinian prisoners.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the house of a freed prisoner in Beit Fajjar town in Bethlehem province and smashed plastic chairs prepared for the reception of guests who would come to congratulate him on his release.
The IOF also stormed homes of multiple freed prisoners ahead of their release from Israeli jails earlier today in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In a separate incident, an armored IOF vehicle rammed into an ambulance while transporting a patient from al-Fari’ah refugee camp in southern Tubas.
According to local officials in Tubas, over 400 citizens were forced by the IOF to leave al-Fari’ah camp, amid tight siege on the area, assaults on citizens and destruction of property.
Other IOF raids were reported across the West Bank, including in different areas of Ramallah province.
