The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed at dawn Sunday Tubas City and took measurements of two houses belonging to the family of martyrs Mohamed Daraghmeh, who carried out the Tayasir checkpoint operation a few day days ago, as a prelude to demolishing them later.

Mohamed is the brother of martyr Ahmed Daraghmeh, the commander of the Tubas Brigade who was killed by the IOF about one month ago.

Local sources said that the IOF broke into and rampaged through three homes belonging to martyrs Mohamed and Ahmed Daraghmeh and their brother Kamal, adding that Israeli soldiers only mapped the homes of Mohamed and Ahmed in order to destroy them later.

The sources also said that martyr Mohamed’s father was transferred by an ambulance crew to the hospital after soldiers severely beat him during its raid on one of the homes.

Meanwhile, IOF bulldozers destroyed roads and private property during its campaign in Tubas, amid clashes with resistance fighters.

On February 4, Mohamed Daraghmeh carried out a successful commando raid on an Israeli military post at the Tayasir checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, east of Tubas in the West Bank, before he was shot dead. Two Israeli soldiers were killed and eight others were injured in the raid.
