Another Palestinian young woman was martyred and her father was injured on Sunday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detonated their house’s gate in Nur Shams refugee camp in eastern Tulkarem.

A brief statement by the Palestinian health ministry said that Rahaf Fuaad al-Ashqar, 21, was killed by Israeli forces who stormed Nur Shams camp earlier today.

A local source reported that Rahaf was killed and her father critically wounded in his leg when Israeli forces used explosives to open the door of their house.

The health ministry had previously announced the killing of a 23-year-old pregnant woman along with her eight-month-old fetus during the IOF raid in the camp, which started overnight. Her husband was critically wounded.

The couple was trying to leave the camp when Israeli forces suddenly stormed it. They were shot while they were inside their car.

Meanwhile, local sources said that three other citizens were injured today by IOF gunfire in Tulkarem, including a girl in critical condition.

The Red Crescent, for its part, said that one of its ambulance crews received a wounded child aged 14 at an Israeli military checkpoint.

The kid was shot and then kidnaped from Nur Shams by Israeli forces before they decided to hand him over to the Red Crescent, according to local sources.

In other incidents, the IOF set fire to a house belonging to martyr Mohamed Jaber and kidnaped two brothers identified as Mohamed and Abdullah al-Qar’awi during its ongoing raid in Nur Shams camp.
