Abdulrahman Shadid, a leader in the Hamas Movement, has said that the Israeli evacuation orders against Tulkarem’s Nur Shams refugee camp “will not succeed in breaking the determination of our people’s resistance.”
Shadid said in a statement on Wednesday that the Israeli forced evacuation order to the inhabitants of the camp via loudspeakers “comes in continuation of the war of genocide and forced displacement in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.”
The Hamas leader hailed the “heroic resistance” in Tulkarem and its refugee camps, affirming that it would never be defeated.
He urged all Palestinians in the West Bank to rise up and confront the Israeli occupation’s crimes and support their compatriots in Jenin and Tulkarem.
The Israeli large-scale aggression on Tulkarem and its refugee camps has been ongoing for 17 days. The Israeli military operation killed 8 Palestinians and inflicted vast destruction on infrastructure other than the forced displacement of thousands of civilians and the detention of scores others.
