A Palestinian boy was killed on Friday after being critically wounded by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during a raid on the town of Salem, east of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
IOF soldiers raided the town of Salem at noon Friday and fired live ammunition at citizens, wounding 16-year-old Abdul Khaliq Musab Jubour with a direct shot to the chest.
The PIC correspondent explained that the injured boy was transported to Rafidia Government Hospital in Nablus, where medical teams tried, in vain, to resuscitate him, before he was later pronounced dead.
The town of Salem witnessed mounting tension following the raid, amid clashes between Palestinian youths and the IOF.
With the martyrdom of Jubour, the number of martyrs in IOF attacks in the West Bank has risen to 130 since the beginning of the year.
