The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided different West Bank areas last night and on Saturday morning and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens in Salfit.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped several citizens during dawn raids on homes in Burqin town, west of Salfit.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked the town’s municipality building and seized a security camera recording device.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the nearby town of Kafr ad-Dik, raided homes and brutalized families and young men.
The IOF also imposed a curfew on the town and forcibly displaced several families, ordering them to remain away from their homes for three days, according to residents’ accounts.
In southern Nablus, Israeli troops stormed Madama village, spread in its streets and maltreated local residents.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police officers kidnaped a young man after chasing his car and opening fire at it near the Jaba checkpoint in the morning.
The Israeli police reportedly closed the checkpoint, resulting in a heavy build-up of traffic in both directions of the road.
