The Israeli military claimed gunfire was unleashed toward an army patrol stationed at a checkpoint north of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Israeli army spokesman said the shooting attack was carried out near the Jalama checkpoint.
No injuries or damage were reported in the alleged anti-occupation shooting.
