GAZA (PIC)– Dr. Ahmed Bahar the acting PLC speaker has called for a new session for the PLC via video conference in each of Gaza and Ramallah after securing quorum.
Bahar said on Monday that the session would challenge the IOA measures aimed at blocking the convening of the PLC sessions through kidnapping almost one third of the MPs and the PLC speaker.
He explained that all detained MPs had expressed support to the convening of a PLC session and deputized their colleagues to represent them at the meeting in a bid to activate the council.
The acting speaker held the IOA fully responsible for obstructing work of the PLC in the past period and held it responsible for any harm done to Dr. Aziz Dwaik the abducted PLC speaker whose health deteriorated in jail due to the arbitrary measures being exercised against him and other MPs in detention.
