OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Clashes broke out early Wednesday between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces during a raid into the Jerusalemite town of Abu Dis.
The young men threw stones and empty bottles at the Israeli forces and forced them to withdraw while the soldiers fired rubber bullets and stun grenades at the Palestinian youths. No injuries or arrests have been reported.
The occupation forces have been launching for several weeks campaigns and raids on the towns of Abu Dis and Eizariya.
Meanwhile a Palestinian youth managed to escape after being arrested by the Israeli policemen in the city of Ashdod in the south of the occupied territories the police website published on Wednesday.
The website added that the young man was arrested for entering the occupied territories without a permit but escaped from the policemen which are still chasing and searching for him in the streets of the city.
