NABLUS (PIC)– There are genuine fears for the life of Ahmad Dawla a Hamas leader in Nablus who has lost about 15 Kilograms of his weight as a result of a hunger strike he started 10 days ago.
After so much efforts and pressure his wife was allowed to visit him in his prison cell in Nablus where he is kept by Abbas’s militiamen. His wife said that her husband has lost about 15 kilograms of his weight as he has been on hunger strike for ten days to protest his imprisonment and bad treatment.
She also warned that his health condition is worsening and that the Red Cross and other human rights organization have not been allowed to visit him.
Dawla was kidnapped by Abbas’s henchmen while returning from an official meeting with PA security in Nablus.
Hamas for its part held Abbas responsible for the safety of Dawla and the other 120 Hamas activists who are still held by Abbas’s militia.
