The spokesman for the Palestinian police in Gaza has warned of a drug trafficking campaign organized by global cartels targeting the Arab region in general and the Gaza Strip in particular.
“Through investigations tracking drug networks and confessions we have found out that global drug gangs have launched an attack to flood the Arab region especially Gaza with this evil” police spokesman Ayman al-Battniji said in a statement on Tuesday.
Spokesman Battniji added that those gangs help local drug dealers obtain different types of drugs easily and pay later in installments.
He pointed out that the drug dealers always invent new smuggling methods in light of the great efforts being made by the drug control administration in Gaza to combat drug trafficking.
