A general strike was declared on Thursday morning in Nablus City in mourning for three Palestinian martyrs who died during the past 24 hours.
Businesses schools and different facilities observed the strike and shut down their doors across the city.
One of the martyrs Mohamed Herzallah (30) was pronounced dead on Wednesday evening after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained last July during armed clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Nablus.
The other martyrs Mohamed Abu Kushk (22) and Ahmed Shahada (16) suffered fatal bullet injuries after the IOF stormed the eastern area of Nablus City on Tuesday night to provide protection for hundreds of Jewish settlers who flocked to Joseph’s Tomb for rituals.
Later in the afternoon hundreds of Palestinian citizens marched in the funeral procession of martyrs Herzallah and Abu Kushk.
