The Hamas Movement has reiterated the need to hold Israel accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people and prosecuting its leaders at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In press remarks on Thursday Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem condemned Israeli forces’ killing of a Palestinian child on Wednesday in Beit Ummar town (northern al-Khali) as “a full-fledged war crime.”
“The occupation army’s persistence in committing crimes against our children reflects its constant feeling that it is above international law” spokesman Qasem said.
“We reaffirm the justice of our people’s demand for the prosecution of Israeli army leaders at the International Criminal Court” he underscored.
He stressed that the launch of an all-out resistance operation against the occupation in the West Bank is the only means to curb its crimes.
12-year-old Mohamed al-Allami on Wednesday suffered a fatal bullet injury in his chest when Israeli soldiers opened fire with no reason at the car his father was driving in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil.
