The deputy head of Hamas Movement abroad Mousa Abu Marzouk said Saturday that his group looks forward to consolidating bilateral relations with China.
Speaking at “China and the Palestinian Question Conference” held in Istanbul Abu Marzouk stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between China and Palestinian forces.
The leader in the Hamas Movement expressed hope that the conference will help bring the distance between China and Palestine and the region as a whole closer.
“China has an important place in the memory of our Palestinian people due to its support to the Palestinian struggle” he said.
Abu Marzouk indicated that the Palestinian cause “is the central issue in the Arab and Islamic region and West Asia”.
On the other hand he stressed the importance of Hamas Movement in the Palestinian Arab and regional area and the diaspora.
Hamas has distinguished relations at all official and popular levels with various world countries and powers he continued.
Abu Marzouk went on calling on China to lead a multipolar world order away from the Israeli entity which gains unlimited support from the US administration.
“China is an authentic part of our Asian continent” he said welcoming China as a strong partner in the region.
