The Hamas Movement has warned that a new round of “real tension” is very likely to happen in the area if the Israeli occupation state persists in tightening the siege on the Gaza Strip.
“The resistance will voice a clear position in this regard because the ongoing blockade [on Gaza] is one of the detonators that will make the situation explode any moment” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in press remarks on Saturday.
“The Palestinian resistance can never stand idly by watching this siege and collective punishment being imposed on the Gaza Strip. Our people have the right to live with freedom and dignity so we will extract this right by force and we will never compromise on this principled issue” spokesman Qasem underscored.
“The resistance factions are moving in a coordinated and collective way and studying the steps to be taken according to their assessments their reading of the situation on the ground at the political and operational levels and the contacts they are making with many mediators to put an end to the siege on Gaza” the spokesman said.
“We will never allow the occupation to blackmail us into making any political position in exchange for our legitimate rights such as reconstruction aid entry lifting the closure and ensuring free movement for people and goods” he added.
