Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan has said that the six prisoners who liberated themselves from Gilboa jail have dealt a severe blow to the Israeli occupation state and its security system.
“Our people and their resistance factions will not allow the Israeli occupation to do any harm to the prisoners or the ex-detainees” Hamdan said in press remarks to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC).
He stressed that the escalatory steps taken recently by the prisoners and the decision to disband their leading committee were all aimed at confronting and resisting the Israeli violations against them.
The Hamas official asserted that the Palestinian factions and their leaders never stopped exerting efforts to defend the prisoners and rally Arab and international political support for their release from Israeli jails.
