Senior Hamas official Abdul-Hakim Hanini has affirmed that Israel’s daily arrest campaigns in the occupied West Bank will not dissuade the Palestinian people from continuing their uprising to defend their prisoners in Israeli jails.
In press remarks Hanini warned the Israeli occupation state of persisting in its crimes and suppressive practices against the prisoners in Gilboa prison and the four detainees who were rearrested following their escape from the jail.
“Our people and their resistance are ready to respond to this aggression and the clashes that happened in Jenin and the shooting incidents are only a message that the enemy should understand” the Hamas official underlined.
He applauded the resistance operations that were carried out by Palestinian young men recently. “This noble people have never left their prisoners [in Israeli jails] standing alone in the face of the jailers’ oppression and aggression.”
“Today we are at a turning point in the history of our people and prisoners and we will write the pages of this moment with letters of heroism and sacrifice” he said.
