Hundreds of Palestinians marched at noontime Wednesday in the funeral procession of a 15-year-old Palestinian minor killed in an Israeli onslaught on the blockaded Gaza Strip earlier in the day.
Reporting from the funeral scene a PIC news correspondent said the procession kicked off from the family home of slain Youssef Sha’ban Abu Adhara in al-Shaboura refugee camp in Rafah on way to the Eastern Cemetery.
The marchers chanted anti-occupation slogans and called on the Palestinian resistance to take revenge for the murder.
Abu Adhara was pronounced dead after Israeli artillery shells slammed into eastern Rafah city south of Gaza Strip at the crack of dawn Wednesday. Two other Gazan youths were left wounded in the offensive.
The Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education strongly condemned the Israeli crime and called on the international community and the human rights institutions to take urgent action as regards such heinous Israeli aggressions.
The ministry further pushed for bringing the Israeli criminals to international courts for turning their back on international law and treaties.
The ministry added that Abu Adhara’s murder comes as part of Israel’s incessant aggressions on Palestinian schoolchildren and students.
