GAZA (PIC)– The popular resistance committees on Wednesday said that one of its fighters was kidnapped after his injury north of the Gaza Strip at the hands of IOF troops.
Abu Abir the PRC spokesman said that a group of three fighters were planting an explosive device east of Beit Hanun north of the Strip when an IOF special force fired at them.
The soldiers wounded Ramez Awadallah then took him to an unknown location. The PRC fighters were planting explosives in anticipation of possible IOF incursion into northern Gaza.
Local sources had earlier said that two citizens were wounded when IOF soldiers fired an artillery shell at them and added that the IOF troops prevented ambulance teams from reaching the wounded.
In Jericho the IOF units kidnapped commander of the AMB armed wing of Fatah faction in the district at dawn Wednesday.
Security sources in the district said that IOF units kidnapped Jihad Abu Haneyya 28 from Shalail area.
