The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested 527 Palestinians last November including 120 children and 11 women according to a Palestinian human rights report on Saturday.
According to the report the highest rate of arrests was recorded in occupied Jerusalem where 163 Palestinians were arrested 74 of whom were children while 12 Palestinians were arrested from the Gaza Strip.
The report showed that the number of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails reached 7000 including 48 females 11 of whom are underage while the number of children reached 350 detained in Megiddo and Ofer jails.
The number of administrative detainees is around 700 and in last November 111 new administrative detention orders were issued the report pointed out.
It noted that the IOF launches daily arrest raids in occupied Jerusalem and West Bank that had intensified with the outbreak of the Jerusalem Intifada in October 2015 in a bid to quell the Intifada.
The figures were released in the joint monthly report issued by the Authority of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs the Palestinian prisoners society Mezan Center for human rights and Addameer Institution for the support of detainees and human rights which documents the violations against the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails.
