Wednesday 16-November-2016

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out at dawn Wednesday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Israeli military sources claimed that six “wanted” Palestinians were detained for being allegedly involved in anti-occupation attacks.

A young man was rounded up in Qalqilia while two youths were detained in Aroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil. Two more arrests were carried out near Bethlehem while a Palestinian was arrested near Tubas.

According to Quds Press violent clashes broke out in Aroub refugee camp when Israeli forces broke into several local homes and confiscated the surveillance cameras in a number of shops.

A number of teargas bombs were reported among the locals during the raid.

The sources pointed out that a 17-year-old minor was arrested from his family house in Hussan town west of Bethlehem while a 12-year-old child was detained after Israeli police broke into his family house in the Old City in occupied Jerusalem.
